This week's series between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles is a thrilling, long-season battle between the two teams fighting for first place in the American League East. The Yankees continued their display of dominance throughout the season, while the Orioles have struggled to find consistent success. After the Orioles 5-3 win yesterday, the tide seems to be turning. The Yankees, with players such as Juan Soto, and Aaron Judge being the backbones of the team are showing their talent. These games are going to be nail-biters. In yesterday's game, Aaron Judge hit his 56th season home run, inching closer to reaching his record of 62 season home runs. More to be reckoned with, Yankees intimidating pitching staff proves they’re still the kings of the East. Released recently Yankees pitcher Nestor Cortes is out for 15 games after facing an elbow injury right before playoffs. The Yankee's pitching lineup can still hold down the fort. The Orioles have youthful energy and are eager to establish themselves as the new kings, hoping to come out on top as champions. These next few games will determine who are really the champions and who has what it takes to clutch up when the time comes.
